Bernard Louvat
CEO & Founder
Bernard is a four-time VC-backed founder and CEO with deep expertise in building AI Agent Workforces and practitioner-centric platforms. He built TouchCommerce—the pioneer in live + AI chat agents for sales and customer care—from 0 to $60M ARR before selling it to Nuance (now Microsoft), where he later ran the $100M Digital Engagement SaaS business with $50M of AI agent revenue. Bernard also co-founded Evolution Robotics (acquired by iRobot) and founded BizBuyer.com, a business services marketplace sold to GE. He holds MBAs from Harvard Business School and HEC Paris.
Khalid Chbab
Co-Founder & Head of Engineering
Khalid is an AI and data engineering expert with an MS in AI & Data Engineering and prior experience as the co-founder/CEO of a SaaS health practitioner platform. At Tera, he designed, built, and implemented the core agentic framework, digital biology and data engineering infrastructure, and the practitioner portal. He brings extensive experience building practitioner-facing platforms and ensures clinical workflows, insights, and protocols operate with enterprise-grade reliability and scale.
Rick Hoefert
COO, Sales & Customer Success
Rick has deep expertise in scaling both human-agent and AI-agent workforces for enterprise sales and customer care. Previously COO at TouchCommerce (0 to $60M ARR) and Chief Customer Officer at ASAPP, a company building AI Customer Service Agents for large enterprises, he now leads Tera's enterprise GTM, customer success, and partner integration strategy. Rick ensures partners achieve measurable ROI through seamless deployment of Tera's AI agents—optimizing revenue, retention, cost, and user engagement across diverse health, wellness, and food platforms.
Chiara Pomari, MD
Scientific Product Manager
Chiara is a Medical Doctor with an MS in Nutrition & Longevity who leads the design of Tera's AI-driven protocol engine, hybrid AI → human escalation pathways, and practitioner workflows. She integrates medical and nutrition expertise with product strategy to build safe, scalable AI Health Optimization Agent capabilities across metabolic, gut, hormone, longevity, and chronic disease domains.
Zareh Khachatoorian
Head of UX, Insights, ROI Analytics & QA
Zareh brings extensive UX leadership experience from Gusto, ASAPP, Nuance, TouchCommerce, and TTEC. At Tera, he leads UX design, behavioral insights, and ROI analytics to create user and partner experiences that consistently deliver high measurable ROI from Tera's AI agents and health optimization workflows. He oversees QA and product quality—ensuring reliable, high-performing and safe agent behavior, and protocol execution through rigorous testing and continuous refinement.

Engineer
Aya is a software engineer focused on building intuitive, high-quality user experiences across web and mobile products. She works closely with UX, product, and engineering teams to design, develop, and deliver seamless, reliable, and scalable features for Tera's AI Agents and the TeraPro practitioner platform.

Nutrition Advisor
Melanie is an award-winning Registered Dietitian with an MS in Nutrition & Longevity and currently serves as Director of Communication at Prolon, a nutri-science company. She advises Tera on the development of its nutrition science layer, including the food-as-medicine knowledge graph and evidence-based protocol design, ensuring that AI-generated nutrition protocols are safe, personalized, and scientifically rigorous across all health domains.
